Technology Systems Support Certificate
This certificate is designed for active duty personnel who have successfully completed most of the course requirements necessary to earn an AA or AS degree. Students interested in this certificate must possess basic computer skills (word processing, presentation tool and Internet skills when available) and the ability to complete a university level distance learning course.
Skills developed in the TSS Undergraduate Certificate enable individuals to work effectively in telecommunications and networking operations by preparing them to assume the roles of network, telecommunications, and instructional systems support specialists in a wide variety of organizations. The hours earned in this certificate program can be applied toward either the UWF Information Engineering Technology or Interdisciplinary Information Technology undergraduate degrees that are available fully online through the UWF Online Campus. For Non-Florida residents these online undergraduate degree programs are eligible for the out-state-fee waiver which will substantially reduce the tuition costs from out of state rates.
