Human Performance Technology Certificate
This certificate is designed for active duty or civilian personnel who’ve earned a BA or BS degree and work as managers, analysts, designers, implementers, evaluators, or change leaders. Students interested in this certificate must possess basic computer skills (word processing, presentation tool and Internet skills when available) and the ability to complete a graduate level distance learning course.
UWF's innovative Graduate Certificate in Human Performance Technology (HPT) develops your skills in identifying and solving performance problems. The HPT certificate program aligns to performance standards and competencies developed by the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI).
The Human Performance Technology certificate prepares you to identify organizational performance problems and recommend effective solutions within corporate, nonprofit, public education and military organizations. The hours earned in this certificate program can be applied toward either the Education & Training Management Subspecialty/Human Performance Technology (ETMS – HPT) or the Master of Science in Administration/Human Performance Technology (MSA – HPT) graduate degrees. These two degrees and many more are available fully online through the UWF Online Campus. For Non-Florida residents these online graduate degree programs are eligible for the out-state-fee waiver which will substantially reduce the tuition costs from out of state rates.
