GEM (General Education Mobile): This program is only available to active duty Air Force personnel seeking a degree from the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF).
UWF is an approved partner with the Community College of the Air Force to provide online general education courses to servicemembers seeking to complete the AAS degree from the CCAF. Up to 15 semester hours of undergraduate credit can be earned from UWF's fully online general education courses. Additionally, Air Force students stationed outside Florida registering for GEM online courses qualify for the UWF out-of-state tuition waiver. This waiver ensures the cost of GEM online courses falls within the current Tuition Assistance limits. Furthermore, UWF offers 8 fully online undergraduate bachelor's degrees if you would like to continue your voluntary educational development with the University of West Florida.
