Waivers to cover all or part of the out-of-state fee portion of assessed tuition are available to qualified students admitted to specific online degree and certificate programs offered by the University of West Florida's Online Campus.

All tuition and fees are assessed on a per credit hour basis by the location of the course, the level of the course, and the student's residency classification for fee purposes. The following tables outline online tuition for undergraduate and graduate courses and includes a $15 per credit hour fee for every online course.

* New undergraduate students residing in Alabama should utilize the existing Alabama out-of-state tuition differential instead of the tuition waiver because it cost less ($319.95 vs. $337.64). New Graduate students residing in Alabama should utilize the tuition waiver because it cost less ($454.30 vs. $465.07).

The above table does not include materials/supplies or lab fees that may be assessed for individual courses.

Differential Tuition Pricing

Some degree programs are authorized to charge differential tuition amounts. The programs listed below have differential tuition.

Nursing, M.S.: The courses that comprise the Nursing M.S. program charge $401.24 per credit hour or $1203.72 per course for Florida residents which includes the online campus fee. For non-Florida residents, the charge is $1060.88 per credit hour or $3182.64 per course.

Alternate Certificate Pricing

The following certificates and programs are priced as listed. All other online programs and certificate costs are based on the charts above.

Applied Behavior Analysis BCBA®/BCaBA® Program: The applied behavior analysis courses that satisfy the graduate coursework requirements for theBCBA® and BCaBA®certifications are $1080.21 PER COURSE.

Arabic Language and Culture Certificate: The courses that comprise the Arabic Language and Culture certificate are $859.80 PER COURSE.

Human Performance Technology Certificate: The courses that comprise the Human Performance Technology certificate are $1080.21 PER COURSE.

Geographic Information Science (GIS) Certificate: Please visit the GIS Tuition web site for current pricing.

Short-term Financial Assistance Programs

The University of West Florida offers two programs to help students who need financial assistance:

• The Tuition Loan Program is designed to assist students in meeting their financial responsibility for timely payment of registration fees. Students who are approved for the program will have a portion of their fee balance due on the original fee payment date deferred to a later payment date.
• The Short Term Loan Program is designed to assist students with a temporary cash flow problem. It is not designed to cover full tuition charges and other institutional fees. Short term loans of $500 are approved for use during the semester but not for expenses between semesters.
