Waivers to cover the out-of-state portion of assessed tuition are available for qualified students admitted to specific online degree and certificate programs at the University of West Florida. If you are an out of state student and enrolled in a tuition fee waiver-eligible program, please complete the Out-of-State Tuition Fee Waiver Form.

All tuition and fees are assessed on a per credit hour basis by the location of the course, the level of the course, and the student's residency classification for fee purposes. This UWF Enrollment Services Tuition and Fees link will take you to a web page where you can select either the “Online Campus Courses” or “Online Campus Courses with Out-of-State Fee Waiver” links to view the current costs for fully online and alternative platform delivery courses. These pages do not include materials/supplies or lab fees that may be assessed for individual courses.

Short-term Financial Assistance Programs
The University of West Florida offers two programs to help students who need financial assistance:

• The Tuition Loan Program is designed to assist students in meeting their financial responsibility for timely payment of registration fees. Students who are approved for the program will have a portion of their fee balance due on the original fee payment date deferred to a later payment date.
• The Short Term Loan Program is designed to assist students with a temporary cash flow problem. It is not designed to cover full tuition charges and other institutional fees. Short term loans of $500 are approved for use during the semester but not for expenses between semesters.
• To Apply for either of these programs, logon to ARGUS; select the “My Info” tab; then look in the “Personal Student Records Access” channel for the application links to both the Tuition Loan and Short Term Loan Programs.

Arabic Language and Culture Certificate: The courses that comprise the Arabic Language and Culture certificate are $614.16 PER COURSE which includes the online campus fee.

Human Performance Technology Certificate: The courses that comprise the Human Performance Technology certificate are $818.12 PER COURSE which includes the online campus fee.
